Our Flagship Programs

AI Resilience Ambassadors

formerly known as “Become an Ambassador” program

This program addresses key frontiers: AI's impact on education, model safety, and broader societal and biosecurity risks. Participants are challenged to identify real-world problems, question assumptions, and explore where AI creates both risks and opportunities. Join a community of curious, driven individuals working at the forefront of these challenges to help shape a responsible AI future. Applications for students aged 18-28 will open in October 2026.

Inclusion and Growth Ambassadors

Programs focus on expanding opportunity for displaced individuals, marginalized communities. Key focus is on integration, skills building, and creating pathways to education and employment, while fundraising to provide essential aid — including distributing food to families in need. Working with local communities, the programs address real challenges and develop a deeper understanding of migration impact, while building empathy and responsibility.

Leadership mentoring and development

This program focuses on elevating leadership - from communication and influence to navigating complex dynamics and delivering results. Participants engage in structured mentoring pathways, both in group settings and through tailored one-on-one support, strengthening critical thinking, decision-making, and the ability to lead effectively in complex environments. The program builds the confidence, judgment, and skills needed for long-term leadership impact.

Food for refugee communities during the pandemic - 2020

A community-led initiative launched during the pandemic to support refugee families facing food insecurity. Through collective fundraising, volunteers enabled the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables, which were packed and distributed to those in need. Beyond immediate relief, the initiative also brought students together to learn about the root causes of migration and to engage actively with refugee issues, fostering awareness, empathy, and a sense of responsibility to contribute to meaningful change.

Summer camp for displaced teenagers fleeing wars - 2019, Greece

A summer program designed for displaced teenagers and refugees, focused on building essential life skills and unlocking future opportunities. Held in Kavala, Greece in 2019, participants developed communication and presentation skills, explored practical technology applications, and built confidence through peer-led activities. The program brought together a global group of educators — including professionals from leading international banks in London, an award-winning photographer, and U.S. graduate students — creating an inspiring environment that equipped young people with the mindset and resilience to pursue a more independent and hopeful future.

Fundraiser for seasonal gifts for kids from refugee communities - 2021

In December 2021, a high school student (Maciej Chwazik) led a school-wide initiative in which students ran fundraising projects to support children from refugee families. After raising funds, the students coordinated a detailed list of gifts, purchased the items, and assembled personalized gift bags for their peers. The group then gathered for an afternoon at Conflict Kitchen, a social kitchen run by refugees, where they met representatives of the Chechen community who shared their culture, traditions, and everyday experiences. Students also had the opportunity to taste traditional dishes prepared under the leadership of Khedi Alieva, founder of the Kobiety Wędrowne (“Women Travelers”) Foundation, dedicated to supporting migrant and refugee women in building independent and empowered lives. The program combined hands-on civic engagement with cultural exchange, fostering empathy, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of community and our joint future.

History of our foundation

The foundation was named in honor of Leopolda Wild, born in 1886, the grandmother of its founder, whose life and values continue to serve as a lasting source of inspiration.

A devoted mother of five children - three daughters and two sons - she held a deep belief in the importance of education and ensured that each of her children had the opportunity to learn and grow.

Her life was marked by extraordinary resilience. During World War II, she was forced to flee her home and rebuild her life as a widow, while searching for her displaced children. Despite enduring profound hardship, she remained steadfast in her strength, maintaining a positive outlook and an unwavering commitment to her family.

Throughout her life, she was a source of support and guidance not only to her children, but also to future generations. She lived into her mid-eighties, actively shaping the upbringing of strong, independent women and men in her family. Through stories passed down across generations, Leopolda's character, courage, and values continued to inspire her great-grandchildren — one of whom, Alexandra Gren, went on to establish this foundation in her name.

Leopolda's belief in perseverance, integrity, and the power of opportunity shaped not only her family, but also the vision behind the foundation.
