The aim of the project was to support the most vulnerable refugee families who found themselves in difficult life situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Warsaw, 2020
Several hundred refugees live in Warsaw. The quarantine period, caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, means an uncertain tomorrow and worsened living conditions for them.

The Leopolda Wild Foundation has become involved in a campaign to purchase and deliver food to refugee families in quarantine.

The Foundation donated funds to purchase nearly half a ton of food and supplies, packing and distributing the products to thirty-two of the most needy refugee families from Warsaw and the surrounding area, who were in dire straits due to the quarantine.
The action of distributing parcels was possible thanks to the commitment of people, gathered around the Association for Legal Intervention.

The action was repeated in June, on the Occasion of World Refugee Day. The project also included education for volunteers on the global problem of migration, its causes and effects.
